Zephania 3:10 to 12 ” “For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, Will bring My offerings. In that day you will feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your proud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My holy mountain.…”
Zephaniah, Tzefanya, meaning ‘Yahweh has hidden’, was a prophet who prophesied during the evil reign of King Mannasseh, mostly warning against idolatry. Prophesy, sometimes accompanied by a shofar, is just about showing how far Jesus is Jesus. And in the tenth verse and third chapter of Zephania’s text is a very complex yet simple prophecy. Many people rightly identify it as a prophecy of worship which will emerge from regions marginalized from the gospel — and not just a promise of Jews coming back to Israel. Any true worshiper is a ‘chosen of the Lord’. But many people don’t realize that this prophecy is the key to the gospel of the kingdom of God, and an East African nation called Kenya will reveal this secret Yahweh has hidden for centuries.
The fiercest rivals to Ethiopians in long distance running, are Kenyans and specifically those from the Kalenjin community — whose name means ‘a unity of sub-nations’. And Kenya is named after Mt. Kenya, which was called in precolonial days ‘Kirinyaga’ or ‘Kiinya’ meaning ‘white mountain’ or ‘ostrich feather mountain’ or ‘shining mountain’, situated around the Kikuyu, Embu and Kamba communities. Therefore, ‘Kenya’ means ‘British Twist to an African Natural Shrine’. And as the only Holy shrine on earth is the Holy Spirit, ‘Kenya’ is the endtime collection of faces of the dove of worship, which is going to be flown to Jerusalem, the city of peace — sanctuary of harmony — throne of the rainbow.
However Zephania 3:10 is not really about Kenya; in fact the British — Europeans invaders — are key in the formation of the nation. Zephania’s prophecy is about how souls anointed with all the dimensions of the dove who guides, will champion worship from all races and nations and classes. Nairobi is one of the headquarters of the United Nations, a sign of its spiritual significance. And Kenya has thousands of Asians, Italians and British residents, along with residents from many other African nations. And the problem with Kenya, which is its classism and tribalism, explains how the devil is in mere religion, whether the religion has signs or whether the religion has no signs. Mere religion is against the prayer of Jesus that the world would know who him by how his disciples, from all nations, locations and situations, are united in love.
This is the reason any minister who is full of prejudice will be exposed in years to come. And this is the reason key leaders of the Zephania 3:10 movement are young humble couples, notably those who hail from communities which seem to have animosity towards each other. And most importantly, young prophets, especially a specific one who has roots in West Africa and Central Africa, are key to this prophecy — a prophecy which will aso highlight alot of worship from South Africa — the rainbow nation. Nimrod, a black man, started the Babel rebellion which resulted in many world cultures; black people, full of the Holy Spirit, are going to unite all cultures in worship. This is a prophecy of how the headquarters of world worship — which is Jerusalem — will gain its full identity via Third World (despised) Nations. The Holy Spirit only uses the most despised of things or people or locations or situations to show who Jehovah is — for he does not want the work of Christ to be defiled by pride.
In most cases, black people are really brown people or bronze people or chocolate people. But the people with black skin, like South Sudanese people, are just ‘ebony people’ — not ‘dark people’ — as in ‘night’ people; and dark is not really negative if it is on a living human being, as it suggests a consciousness being put in fiery trials whilst still remaining whole — Holy. Resilence and longsuffering has been the brown man’s and black man’s experience — in slavery and colonialism. God created the sons of Ham with dark skin as reflection of how Jesus is the anointing oil in their yellow tone, refined rejuvenation in their black tone, refreshing intoxication in their chocolate tone and ruling patience in their bronze tone. Black supremacy must never be entertained as all of us were only created for Jesus and through Jesus.
Jesus also reveals that white skin, which has a variation of cream and pink tones should just have been a reflection of his inclusivity in the white tone, his soft passion in the pink tone and his churned upliftment in the cream tone. White is not mere lacking of stains but bearing of all stains, for inside white is brown, yellow and even black. White — which is light — is the swallowing of all colours. Thus ‘white supremacy’ is stupidity as ‘white’ is essentially, ‘Containment of all Colours’. True worship, as Zephania 3:10 shows, breaks down all pride and a brokenheart is the one thing the Father in heaven cannot reject. A broken heart is in fact the Father’s most sought after treasure, the gift Zephania 3:10 promises.
From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, a synchrony of broken hearts will be perfected, showing what ‘Jerusalem’ means. Jerusalem, the city of peace, is not just the ancient city in Israel but it is the heavy stone of world peace which the collection of nations, full of pride and lust, cannot lift. This is because Jerusalem, which the United Nations in New York has tried in vain to effect, can only be a communality of true worshipers. What is true worship? Many people have claimed they know what it is, but as they don’t discern secrets which Yahweh has hidden for ages, their worship is not a deep drinking of the Holy Spirit. The fulfillment of Zephania 3:10 will show what true worship is.
